My role

I developed the app with AI coding assistance as a summer project, using NewsAPI.org for stories and Supabase for the database and authentication.

I used NewsAPI.org to bring stories into the app and added an option to switch between countries. I connected Supabase for account authentication and the database, then hosted the app on Vercel.

I built the news feed, country switching, account features, and notification settings in React and TypeScript.

The app is hosted on Vercel and is available to invited testers through Google Play’s closed beta, ahead of a public release.
